Women's Ministry
The Women of Purpose ministry centers on relationships between women, whether it is mother to daughter, sister to sister, or friend to friend. Emphasis is also placed on wholesome interaction with the significant male counterparts in our lives. It is strategically designed to touch, empower, include, involve, and encircle every woman of The UCFM. Since the Women of Purpose inception, First Lady Valeria’s vision for the program has been for the women of The UCFM to become one. It is her heart’s desire for the women to come together as a God-breathed organism of sisters, daughters, mothers, friends, and life-time legacy mentors who together will set an atmosphere of relational well-being. It is a vision of unity where the prevailing countenance of feminine grace exudes a gentleness that is heralded as strength; where peace insists on reigning; a kind word is freely passed around; and love is expected to stretch to great lengths. Youth Ministry
The Mobile Youth operates under the umbrella of The UCFM, and is a dynamic youth ministry that services young people ages 13 years and over. Here, at Mobile Youth, we understand that we are developing the next generation of leaders, a privilege that we do not take lightly. We delight in providing our youth with a true experience with God, which is accomplished through sound, biblically-based teaching, in a loving environment. On a weekly basis, we teach our youth the core values of Mobile Youth
It is imperative to us that our youth leave our presence understanding how special they are to God and that they belong to Him!
Praise & Worship Ministry
The Voices in Praise (VIP) and Kingdom Worshippers are Christ-centered, purpose driven, and committed to serving our church and community with God-given talents. The experience of authentic praise and worship is where the sound of music commands God’s presence to shift the atmosphere. Brokenness and fear are transformed into wholeness and confidence, as our talented ensemble minister songs to the cadence of God’s anointing every Sunday. Every 1st Friday of the month is our Absolute Worship/Open Mic event. Where we come together to worship the Lord with different talents and gifts.
Healing Ministry
The impact of the power and healing touch of God has been manifested at the Mercy Hour. Every Thursday night has been marked by the salvation, healing and deliverance of souls from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Countless souls have testified that Jesus is a healer.
Media
Our media team is filled with effective and efficient personalities who make sure they have quality sound and videos on a weekly basis. They are well educated, well-trained, and make room for people who would like to be trained.
Welfare Ministry
The Welfare team are a group of selected people from the church who take care of the less privileged in the church and the community. They gladly visit homes when there is bereavement, birth of newborns, hospitalization etc. The Welfare team take care of part of the costs involved to ease the emotional effect of the subjects. They also comfort individuals with social and spiritual motivation.
Cleaning Department
The cleaning ministry are a group of devoted ladies and gentlemen who constantly tidy up the church premises, and occasionally go the extra mile to ensure that intricate parts of the church are clean. Their motto is “cleanliness is next to godliness”, for God is holy and God is clean
Bible Studies Teaching/School of Ministry/Cell Meetings
Do you know that you have been called by God to preach or teach the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ? The UCFM School of Ministry is for those who desire to take their unction to the next level by receiving the discipline, training, and doctrinal understanding that will undergird that fiery call, and meets the requirements of becoming a Licensed Minister of The UCFM. The UCFM School of Ministry is dedicated to developing 21st Century Ministers of The UCFM who are full of sound doctrine and whom are devoted to the spreading of The Good News of Jesus Christ and His Salvation throughout the world. With continual study, prayer, and worship, the School of Ministry is committed to building a church clergy who reflect a personal discipline of devotion and a sensitive caring of both their personal family and their corporate church. With a holy boldness and unfaltering faithfulness, School of Ministry is dedicated to making “full proof” of ministry while defending the faith and enacting the Lord’s Great commission “And He said unto them. Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
Men of Velour Ministry
Vision Statement: It is the vision of Men of Velour to impact and empower the male believer with transformative truths that enable men to experience a richer fuller relationship with Christ. Our approach is a practical, pragmatic assessment of obstacles and the removing of blockages that have historically deterred them from being successful in Kingdom growth. It is our vision to enhance and guide men into how to become a Christian family head; to have biblically sound relationships in their families and churches by making continual deposits into their spiritual, emotional, and economic development as they seek their rightful place in the Kingdom of God!
Purpose Men of Velour’s overall purpose is to develop men into becoming passionate disciples for Christ. Our desire is to move from just a Men’s Ministry, to a Ministry “To” Men. This move will require a mindset and process change that begins from the very first day a man joins our church.
Singles
The Single Ministry are geared with social interaction and thought provoking sessions to keep the singles of The UCFM in a mindset of wholesome growth and abundant overflow. Our mantra is taken from John 10:10, and says, “I have come that you may have life, and life more abundantly”. These words hold the heartbeat of the Single Ministry; as it single-mindedly focuses on developing the whole person in such a manner that the social boundaries of gender, race, age, or marital status could never contain the sum of its unfolding. Whether or not such a life of a Single member progresses into married bliss or single satisfaction; it surely will progress.
Couples
Vision Statement: To help couples thrive in their relationships by providing empowering educational tools to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy relationship. This ministry will not only play a pivotal role in building successful marriages, but it will also impact children, families, the church, the community and ultimately, the world.
Mission To learn and develop marriage enrichment and communication skills; understanding what the Bible says about marriage; participate in monthly program meetings and social events; attend quarterly workshops/seminars and coaching sessions; annual honeymoon retreat.
Target Audience Premarital couples (dating with intention of marriage); married couples (relationship enrichment); couples in crisis (communication barriers, trust/betrayal, separated, etc.). Also, couples living together with children (thinking out of the box to address an untapped population.
Evangelism
Evangelism not only evangelizes to the community, but identifies and implements the services needed to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community.
